For best results, we recommend soaking new towels overnight in cold water with 1/2 cup white vinegar if you have it. Then wash as normal before first use. This removes any dressing and opens up fibres for optimum absorbency.

Recommend washing your Ecovask cloths as you would your kitchen towels in 30-40 degrees C. Tumble-dryer safe. When line-drying, peg in the middle of the cloth to maintain shape.

After you’ve used your cloth, rinse in clean water, ring them out and hang it to dry in your sink. Avoid storing wet dish cloths under the sink as they need air flow to dry in between use.

When a garment or textile can no longer be worn, mended, swapped, gifted, donated or upcycled, please contact your Council to find the nearest textile recycling scheme.
