House of Pincho is an Australian artisanal salt maker inspired by the wild beauty of the Victorian coastline. Founded by an artist with a deep fascination for the ocean and the ancient craft of salt making, House of Pincho transforms pure ocean water into beautifully handcrafted sea salt using nothing but sun, sea, wind and time.
Collected from the coastline near Bells Beach and brought to the brand’s solar salt houses in Bellbrae, each harvest is slowly formed through traditional solar evaporation. The result is a mineral-rich sea salt with a delicate texture and complex natural flavour, created to be used as a finishing touch that elevates everyday meals.
House of Pincho brings together traditional craftsmanship, Australian coastal provenance and thoughtful design. Its signature ceramic mermaid pots feature original artwork and are designed to be kept, reused and refilled, making the salt as beautiful on the table as it is in the kitchen.
There is also a little magic in every harvest. Music is played for the seawater throughout the evaporation process, reflecting the brand’s belief in intention, joy and the natural energy of the ocean. With a deep respect for nature and a commitment to creating something meaningful, House of Pincho celebrates the simple ritual of gathering around good food, good salt and good company.
