When preparing food that may release liquid, add a small amount of liquid sufficient to cover the bottom of the glassware prior to cooking.

DO NOT use glassware to microwave popcorn or foods wrapped in heat-concentrating material; heat empty or nearly empty glassware in the microwave; or overheat oil or butter in microwave (use minimum cooking time only)

Only fill container 80% when freezing as food may expand.

Always prehat oven before putting container into oven.

Glasslock high quality tempered glass containers. Storing, freezing and serving food from glass ensures that your food is not contaminated with unwanted chemicals including BPA, PVC and Pthaltates. Glasslock glass is nonporous and impermeable.

There are two types of Glasslock so please look out for oven safe" in the name if you are looking for oven safe glass. The standard Glasslock (often with the blue trim around the lid) is freezer safe but not oven safe. Oven safe often has red trim around the lid. You can buy individual Glasslock containers or our great value sets for uses from baby food to baking with glass.
