Lion’s Mane mushroom has been shown to encourage the brain’s own repair and growth systems, particularly the production of nerve growth factor (NGF), a natural protein that helps brain cells form and strengthen connections. You can think of NGF as the signal your brain uses to keep its wiring sharp; the quieter, deeper process behind focus, clarity, and memory. The most studied functional mushroom for the brain, grown on our Australian farms. Hericium erinaceus. Precision-extracted at 1g per mL. One dropper in your morning coffee.

Features

Immediately (first few days)
Some people feel clearer or more “switched on” within days: a smoother train of thought, less mental fog, easier recall. These early shifts are often what people describe in reviews, though many will feel nothing right away, which is equally normal. Inside the body, Lion’s Mane’s bioactive compounds begin telling the brain to make more of its own growth signals, not by overstimulating, but by tuning the system back toward balance.

After a few weeks
With consistent use, those signals build. The brain begins reinforcing existing pathways and forming new ones, the biological groundwork for long-term cognitive support. Studies using Lion’s Mane extracts over 8–12 weeks show measurable improvements in focus, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing. It doesn’t “rev you up”; it quietly strengthens the circuits that help you think and adapt.

Over months of consistent use
Lion’s Mane continues working in the background through the gut–brain axis, a communication line between your digestive and nervous systems. Over time, users often describe steadier concentration and mental energy that lasts through the day. It’s less about a single spark, more about smoother transmission across every wire.

A note on the science
Much of the attention goes to its well-known compounds, hericenones and erinacines, but science is still uncovering how the hundreds of smaller molecules in Lion’s Mane interact together. That’s why MYCRO focuses on whole-mushroom, broad-spectrum extraction: preserving the natural matrix so the compounds can work synergistically, as they do in nature, instead of isolating just one part of the picture.

Tasting notes

Mycro's products are potent and unadulterated. For this reason we advise to add them to a glass of water and allow them to dissipate.

Original: Your drink will have a subtle, pleasant, but complex flavour profile akin to cacao. Think earthy, nutty, fruity and acidic notes but not bitter. After adding to water and being left for a moment, the alcohol is not noticeable.

Ingredients

Original (contains alcohol)

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus), Australian sugarcane alcohol (30% v/v), Purified water

All ingredients are 100% Australian. Only fruiting body, the true mushroom, is used, never mycelium on grain.

Care & Use

Each morning shake well, add 1 ml (one dropper) to water or your beverage of choice.
Allow a few minutes to pass as the potent extract dissipates through the water and the alcohol mellows.

Brand story

MYCRO is built on solid foundations: combining two of Australia’s most experienced specialty mushroom farmers with one of the country’s leading biotechnologists.

Between them, Jason and George have nearly three decades of growing experience, fifteen of those years at commercial scale. They are known for industry-leading yields, novel cultivation methods, and the kind of hands-on skill that only comes from dedicating your life to farming. Their mushrooms have supplied chefs, retailers and researchers across New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia, and form the backbone of everything Mycro make.

Dr. Kyle Thomson holds a PhD in Biotechnology, formerly lectured and led the Biotechnology program at UNSW, and has more than a decade of experience in extraction, molecular isolation and bioactive stabilisation. He designs and oversees every part of Mycro's extraction process: ensuring precision, repeatability and scientific rigour at a standard rare in consumer supplements.

Together, the three friends combine agriculture, biotechnology and manufacturing into one vertically-integrated system.

They grow the mushrooms, extract the compounds, bottle the products, and stand behind every drop. This blend of farming and science is what makes MYCRO unstoppable, and why the products are trusted across Australia.
